So after clicking on things for a good hour I finally gave up and
started checking my e-mails. Guess what I found!!! A link that allowed
me to sign-up.
I am a first year exploratory major in the Honors Program
(duh) here at UF. I am very much into sports, especially ones
considered “extreme” by other people. I love to longboard (skateboard)
and kiteboard. I have played softball my entire life and also enjoy
playing volleyball.
Believe it or not I used to be quite the technology buff. Back
when myspace was awesome I would create my own layouts etc. and edit
the ones I came across. However, now, I am lucky if I can make my way
through a blogging homework assignment. I am proficient at photoshop
and microsoft word and powerpoint, but put an excel spreadsheet in front
of me and I cower.

Hopefully this class will bring me up to speed on all of the
crazy technological advances our society is making and make it all
a little less intimidating. I am not going to say that I will ever
be awesome enough to create my own website that actually functions
but hopefully I can at least see how it’s done.
